Copywriting Rates

Most copywriters don't publish their rates upfront. But if you're anything like me, you'd rather make an informed choice. So, here are my rates to help you.

LET ME WRITE YOUR COPY AND SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND HASSLE

According to the most recent ProCopywriters' survey, the average UK freelance copywriters' day rate is now £433 (based on 520 copywriters' responding in 2023). By comparison, mine is just £330 - a perfectly fair rate (I think) for writing with a human touch that'll entice and engage your audience. Not bore them to death.

Plus, you'll be saving yourself a lot of time and hassle in the process. And, ultimately, that means money, too.

            HOW I WORK AND WHAT'S INCLUDED

            I charge on a project-by-project basis because every client is different. A quote takes into account every aspect of the work and writing required. That way, you'll know the exact cost from the start with no nasty surprises at the end.

            My fees are based on (but not limited to): how detailed the brief is, how urgent the work is, the word count, the complexity, and how much time it will take me to research, create and then write what you need. A quoted fee will usually include...

            • Consultation/fine-tuning the brief
            • Research and fact-checking using multiple sources
            • Creative processes
            • All writing and editing for a first draft
            • Two sets of revisions (if needed)
            • Final checks
            • Delivery of completed project

                                          Copywriting Price Guide

                                          Set out below are some individual guide prices for the various types of copywriting services I offer. These are all starting points for work that is fairly standard and straightforward - as most projects are. However, because things like word counts, subject complexity, levels of research and the amount of time involved can vary considerably from client to client, the fees shown are not set in stone.
